Body Cage

Body Cage

Body cage, arms and legs
Heads free
          Held not
Thoughts racing freights
          Place to place
Something alights
          right between
Stopping lights
           And engine steam
One night
Another change
            Coupled now are
Two trains
Winded steam
             Ends on distant plains
Empty space
             Holds tracks between
Sparking metal
Flowing light
              Windblown grasses
               Directing vision
Toward one division
In the night
             Arms held not
Connection
             Mind is caught
